The letter also suggested that the frequency of metro trains passing through the listed stations could be reduced.The proposed restrictions would continue through October 10 until the situation normalises, the letter said.WHAT ARE THE 57 STATIONSThe stations named in the letter include Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, New Delhi, Mandi House, Janpath, Kashmere Gate, INA, Hauz Khas and several stations in north-east Delhi. The request comes amid heightened security arrangements for the planned protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which has demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the revision of electoral rolls.Delhi Police has denied permission for the proposed demonstration, while security has been stepped up across the capital.
