‘Dancing With the Stars’ sends home two celebrities in brutal double elimination

EntertainmentAlfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough.DisneyIt was Horror Movie Night during the Oct. 27 episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” but the scariest part of the evening was the double elimination.Savannah Bananas baseball player Jackson Olson and his partner Emma Slater were sent home, as were “The Bachelorette” star Tyler Cameron and his partner Sharna Burgess. The double elimination came after no one was sent home on Dedication Night last week.Cameron tied with Julia Stiles for the lowest score of the night, a 26 out of 40. Olson, meanwhile, achieved his highest score of the season thus far, a 35 out of 40.The notoriously tough Shirley Ballas served as a guest judge, and she wasn’t afraid to give out a couple 4s as the other judges stuck to scores of 7 and higher. Because no one went home on Dedication Night, this week’s elimination results were based on the combined judges’ scores from the past two weeks as well as fan votes. That put Cameron at the bottom of the leaderboard, whereas Olson tied with Maura Higgins and ranked above Stiles and Tatyana Ali. Ultimately, Olson didn’t have the fan votes to stay in the competition.Alfonso Ribeiro, Jackson Olson and Emma Slater.DisneyAfter the double elimination, there are just eight couples left competing for the season 35 Mirrorball Trophy — Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik, Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas, Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson, Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa and Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold.READ MORE: ‘Dancing With the Stars’ 2026 cast list: Where you’ve seen each celeb beforeHere are all the scores from the Oct. 27 episode of “DWTS” (scores are out of 40 because of guest judge Shirley Ballas).Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna JohnsonHarry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson.DisneyScore: 40 out of 40Ranking: 1st placeJenna Dewan and Val ChmerkovskiyJenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy.DisneyScore: 37 out of 40Ranking: Tied for 2nd placeConnor Wood and Rylee ArnoldRylee Arnold and Connor Wood.DisneyScore: 37 out of 40Ranking: Tied for 2nd placeAmber Glenn and Pasha PashkovPasha Pashkov and Amber Glenn.DisneyScore: 36 out of 40Ranking: 4th placeEzra Frech and Daniella KaragachDaniella Karagach and Ezra Frech.DisneyScore: 35 out of 40Ranking: Tied for 5th placeJackson Olson and Emma SlaterEmma Slater and Jackson Olson.DisneyScore: 35 out of 40Ranking: Tied for 5th placeMaura Higgins and Mark BallasMaura Higgins and Mark Ballas.DisneyScore: 32 out of 40Ranking: 7th placeTatyana Ali and Jan RavnikTatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik.DisneyScore: 28 out of 40Ranking: 8th placeTyler Cameron and Sharna BurgessAlfonso Ribeiro, Sharna Burgess and Tyler Cameron.DisneyScore: 26 out of 40Ranking: Tied for 9th placeJulia Stiles and Ezra SosaJulia Stiles and Ezra Sosa.DisneyScore: 26 out of 40Ranking: Tied for 9th place “Dancing With the Stars” airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.Cause of death revealed for ‘Bridesmaids’ actorSee who People named the Sexiest Man Alive in 2026Cause of death revealed for beloved ‘Star Trek’ actorActress and musician split after 3 years of marriage: ‘I feel like a little bit of a failure’Sara Donnellan is a trending entertainment news writer.
