Just three songs in, Moroney admitted defeat. Video from the concert shared to social media showed the singer stop and break down in tears as she explained to the crowd that she just couldn’t do it. “I am obviously extremely sick and I thought I did everything to make myself better,” she said. “Two songs in, I just can’t play this show tonight.”Moroney told her fans that she wanted to make it up to them, and “give you guys the show you deserve … I’m sorry.”Some fans were obviously not happy to hear that the show was coming to such an early end, but that quickly changed into shouts of support from the crowd.Moroney also took to Instagram to address the incident after the show.“That was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make & I’m so sorry to cancel the show tonight,” she wrote. “I never ever will give you guys a show that is not 100% and by song 3 I knew that I was not capable of giving that to you tonight. I’m typing this as I’m quite literally bawling my eyes out in my dressing room & it hurts me so much to disappoint you all.“I will be back August 27, and all tickets purchased for tonight’s show will be honored for the new date,” she added. “If you can’t make the date refunds are available at the point of purchase. I’ve never had to do this & I’m truly so sorry.“I love u guys Megan.”Brian Linder is the trending editor at PennLive.com.
