They play one of soaps' most enduring mother-daughter duos, and Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien and Lucy Fallon set the bar with their daring looks at the 2026 Inside Soap Awards.Heading to a swanky location in Manchester, the pair joined some of soap's biggest names for a night honouring some of the year's most iconic characters, storylines and moments. The winners of the Inside Soap Awards are voted for by readers of the magazine of the same name, and this year Coronation Street swept the board with a total of eight wins, including the top prize of Best Soap.Tina arrived in a dazzling white mini dress with an Old Hollywood twist in the form of a matching feathered stole, while Lucy graced the red carpet in a bold sheer black dress and lace shorts.Brooke Vincent has been making the most of her new single status after it was revealed earlier this month that she and former Sheffield United footballer Kean Bryan, 29, quietly called off their engagement after 10 years together.The actress opted for a bold zebra printed mini dress and nude pointed-toe heels. Inside Soap presented the prestigious Outstanding Achievement trophy to former Brookside and Hollyoaks star Alex Fletcher – who played Jacqui Dixon and Diane Hutchinson respectively – in recognition of her four decades in soap.Emmerdale icon Claire King was the first inductee into the Inside Soap Awards Hall of Fame, 30 years after she collected the Biggest Soap B**ch and Best Soap Plot trophies at the very first Inside Soap Awards ceremony. Reacting to the win, Claire said: 'I remember when these Awards started 30 years ago, and I've gone from Best Bitch to the longevity award. 'Kim Tate has been such a huge part of my life, so I am very honoured to accept this Inside Soap Hall of Fame Award.'Readers named EastEnders' Diane Parish their Soap Superstar of 2026, for her 'beautiful' and 'vulnerable' portrayal of Denise Fox, praising her for handling her character's blood cancer storyline with 'grace and sensitivity', and 'giving everything to every performance.''The soaps have proved to be an emotional watch in 2026,' notes Inside Soap editor Sarah Ellis.
