Actress Lucinda has also appeared in Hollyoaks, Doctors and The Bay. A source told us: “It’s a guest role but Lucinda is delighted to be back on the cobbles.” Lucinda will be playing newbie Lucy Parkinson’s councillor, Beatrice, in one episode. Lucy, played by Anya Lewis, recently arrived on the cobbles after a family tragedy. She first popped up in Weatherfield earlier this month as the daughter of Tim Metcalfe’s estranged cousin Richie. Following a reunion after many years without seeing one another, Richie opened up to Tim about difficulties in his marriage to wife Rachel. Most read in TV But in a horror twist of events, Tim arrived at Richie’s home to discover him wearing a blood-covered shirt. Not only this, but his wife Rachel was lying dead on the floor. Richie was taken into custody for his wife’s murder and has since been imprisoned, with their daughter Lucy left orphaned. Lucy has now been fostered by Tim and his wife Sally, who are already looking after three other foster children. Lucy is clearly finding things difficult since the death of her mum and the imprisonment of her father. Actress Anya, who plays Lucy, joined the ITV soap just months after completing school.
