Lucy Parkinson (Anya Dewin) remains unsettled in her new home with Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine) as she struggles in the aftermath of her mum’s death. As well as clashing with Joanie, Lucy spends a counselling session ranting about how much she hates Sally and Tim. Elsewhere, Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn) puts her foot in it with Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) and gets a dressing down from Rita Tanner and Mary Taylor (Barbara Knox and Patti Clare). Maggie feels suitably bad about the incident, but will Brian accept her apology? Of course, there are more challenges ahead for Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) next week, while Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) gets a major shock.
