Spoiler, but since you’re here: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Conner Leavitt was the first celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing With the Stars. Not exactly a position any celebrity on the show wants to be in, and Conner definitely has a lot of feelings about being axed.Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Conner said, “I was upset. We felt like we were vulnerable. We left it out on the dance floor. Dancing’s hard. For anyone who doesn’t know, dancing’s hard. So to go out there, perform all out, and then get that kind of a disappointing result, it does, it’s sad.”He added, “I could not be more thrilled to be part of such a wonderful cast, and have such a wonderful dance partner.”Meanwhile, Conner’s partner Adele Zaikman said, “This experience is a dream come true. I was so happy and so blessed to be partnered with Conner. He’s the best first partner; I loved working with him. I do feel, of course, disappointed, because I’m very competitive. But that’s what it is about, it’s a competition, someone had to go home.”Conner also noted that he’s a “mathematician by trade” and doesn’t think the online votes not working made any impact on him leaving: “I don’t think there was any unfairness involved; everyone deserved to be here, it’s just a bummer that we had to go first,” he said.Reminder, DWTS airs the next episode of its two-night premiere tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Disney+ and ABC.
