It's now clear that Shah Rukh Khan's King has a new musical team. Composer-singer Anirudh has reportedly stepped away from the film because of his packed schedule. However, he isn't leaving the project entirely empty-handed. He's said to have given Shah Rukh a theme track as a mark of respect for the actor, even as composer-duo Sachin-Jigar take charge of the film's songs and background score.According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Anirudh and the makers mutually decided to part ways after his commitments in the South made it difficult for him to give the film the time it needed. With Shah Rukh and director Siddharth Anand keen to bring King to cinemas this Christmas without delays, the team reportedly decided to make the change.A source told the publication, "Siddharth Anand and Shah Rukh Khan are determined to bring King to cinemas this Christmas without any delays. However, Anirudh has been juggling multiple commitments down South, making it difficult for him to devote the time and attention that a film of this scale demands." Not just that, the 36-year-old is also having a personal moment: getting married. He is set to marry Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran in November. The decision to part ways from the project was reportedly amicable, with Sachin-Jigar now handling the album as well as the background score. Anirudh, meanwhile, has composed the film's theme track, which will continue to feature in the project. The source further revealed, "Anirudh has given the theme track of King to Shah Rukh Khan as a mark of his respect for the megastar, and Sachin-Jigar too will be reimagining the track for the entire background score of the film. So King will still have the Anirudh touch with the theme track, but the entire score and the album will be done by Sachin-Jigar."SRK-Deepika Padukone's Tu Mil Jaaye releasesThe timing is interesting, as King has just begun unveiling its music.
