Heintz, 18, a rising young soccer star at Pennsylvania Western University, was found dead in the back of her Jeep Cherokee at 12:30 a.m. Thursday. Moser, 18, and his mother, Rachel Moser, were both arrested on Thursday morning. “They’re a younger couple talking about how relationships can continue maybe in a college setting,” Pennsylvania State Trooper Rocco Gagliardi told the media. “Somewhere that conversation goes a little bit south. Towards the end of the conversation between boyfriend and girlfriend, he goes inside and grabs a large knife from the kitchen. “He comes back out and proceeds to stab her in the chest area,” he continued. “At that point, she falls out of the vehicle. He proceeds to pick her up and load her in the back hatch of that vehicle. Drives that said vehicle to mom’s house and then starts talking with mom about what they should be doing from this point forward.”According to Gagliardi, police claim that Moser and his mother tried to clean his clothes and the car to “get rid of any blood stains as possible.” Police claim that Moser then drove the vehicle, with his mother following behind him, back to the area where the college is located.Police said that Moser dropped off the Jeep Cherokee, and his mother gave him a ride home. Gagliardi said that Royce Moser has been charged with homicide, tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse, conspiracy to commit tampering of evidence, conspiracy to commit abuse of a corpse and obstruction of justice. He said that Rachel Moser has been charged with hindering apprehension of a fugitive, tampering of evidence, abuse of a corpse, conspiracy to both tampering of evidence and abuse of a corpse and obstruction.“Eighteen year old girl, young, soccer star, ready to explore life, ready to start college, now can no longer get to do that,” Gagliardi said. “Her family.
