But the Chelsea talisman brutally teased Nicoll-Jazuli by heading onto Instagram and uploading a video of the teenage talent singing in front of his big-name pals. And, in the caption that accompanied the footage, Palmer said: “The funniest.” Nicoll-Jazuli, 16, seemed to see the funny side as, alongside a laughing emoji, he replied: “Narrative.” Former Chelsea chief Enzo Maresca considered handing the England Under-17s starlet a first-team debut after shining at youth level. The up-and-coming youngster has also been dubbed the next Jude Bellingham thanks to his performances while coming through the ranks. And new Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso has been impressed with Nicoll-Jazuli during the pre-season tour. Alonso also gave him the nod for the loss to Italian giants Juventus earlier this month. The rising star came off the bench against Western Sydney Wanderers and in the last-gasp defeat to Tottenham as Chelsea stepped up their preparations for the new season.
