Published Oct 6, 2026, 11:24 PM EDT Simon is a Computer Science BSc graduate who has been writing about technology since 2014, and using Windows machines since 3.1. After working for an indie game studio and acting as the family's go-to technician for all computer issues, he found his passion for writing and decided to use his skill set to write about all things tech. Since beginning his writing career, he has written for many different publications such as WorldStart, Listverse, and MakeTechEasier. However, after finding his home at MakeUseOf in February 2019, he would eventually move on to its sister site, XDA, to bring the latest and greatest in Windows, Linux, and DIY electronics. Edit directly or review Claude's proposed-change cards to approve or deny big edits. It's available now for paid members via Google Workspace Marketplace. If you want to get a lot done within Google's productivity ecosystem, but you'd rather use Claude to get the job done, Anthropic has just announced the ideal solution for you. It's called Claude for Google Workspace, and as you might imagine, it gives your favorite LLM access to all your Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides for easy access. Claude for Google Workspace crosses the gap between two AI giants You can give it a try right now As announced on the Claude blog, Anthropic has announced the availability of Claude for Google Workspace. This handy extension lets you bring up Claude in a little sidebar beside your work, so you can stay with your LLM while you work on whatever document you have open at the moment. Fortunately, the sidebar is more than just a place to ask Claude questions. If you have any problems with your document (perhaps you're unsure how to write a specific segment, for instance), you can tell Claude to fix it in the sidebar, and it'll get to work making the adjustments. If you'd rather not let an LLM loose on your precious document to make potentially unwanted changes to your document (and I don't blame you), Claude will make little cards for each proposed change if it wants to do something big. You then have the power to allow or deny the change before it affects anything. It's available right now for paid members, so download it from the Google Workspace Marketplace and give it a try.
Claude can now access your Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides with minimal effort
