Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film’s title glimpse was unveiled on Saturday, offering a first look at the actor’s two contrasting characters. Kaaka is scheduled to release in theatres on January 13, 2027, coinciding with the Sankranthi season.KVN Productions, which is backing the film, shared the title reveal on X. The production house wrote, “Presenting the WHOLE NEW SIDE of MEGASTAR @Kchirutweet Garu on his birthday. KAAKA will set THE BLOODY BENCHMARK on the BIG SCREENS this Sankranthi, on JANUARY 13, 2027 (sic).”The glimpse begins with Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, a supervisor in the aqua industry. Dressed in a simple, middle-class avatar, Satyam is seen assuring the Chennai team that their load will arrive on time. He also turns down Sunil’s request for leave, reminding him that they have a festival target to meet.The sequence soon takes a more playful turn. Getup Srinu’s character tells Satyam about a set of scooter keys given to him by his daughter. When Satyam asks him to throw the keys, they accidentally land in the water. A dog then appears carrying a remote, which Satyam uses to retrieve the keys with the help of a magnet. The seemingly light-hearted sequence takes an unexpected turn when guns emerge along with the keys. The moment leads into the reveal of Satyam’s middle-aged character and the film’s title, Kaaka.The glimpse then shifts to a flashback, introducing a younger Chiranjeevi in a markedly different avatar. Seen firing guns and carrying a more stylish look, the younger character brings a sense of attitude and swagger that contrasts with Satyam’s grounded persona. The glimpse, therefore, establishes two distinct shades of Chiranjeevi - the unassuming, middle-aged Satyam and his younger, more flamboyant counterpart.
