Chase Sapphire Lounge SeaTac Airport Gets Approval, And It Looks Gorgeous

A roughly 16,000 square foot Chase Sapphire Lounge is expected to open at Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA). This will require some patience, as the project has just been approved, but it’s at least nice to know that this is on the horizon… hopefully. Chase Sapphire Lounge Seattle now in the pipeline!Seattle’s airport lounge situation is improving nicelyBottom line Chase Sapphire Lounge Seattle now in the pipeline! The Port of Seattle has just approved plans for a new Chase Sapphire Lounge at the airport, in partnership with Airport Dimensions, as flagged by View from the Wing. This new lounge will be located in Concourse A, next to the current Delta lounge complex (which has both a Delta One Lounge and SkyClub). Chase Sapphire Lounges are known for being among the best credit card lounges out there, and feature nice decor, excellent food and drinks, and some other amenities. They’re primarily intended for those who have the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Sapphire Reserve Business, though there are other ways to access these lounges as well. Based on the presentation about the new lounge, it’ll feature pretty typical Chase Sapphire Lounge amenities, including shower suites, digital food ordering, and more. Chase Sapphire Lounge Seattle amenities The renderings of the Chase Sapphire Lounge Seattle look beautiful, in line with what you’d expect from the network. I must say, the design perhaps looks even more elevated compared to what we typically see, though maybe these renderings are also a bit optimistic. That’s because The Club at SEA will take over the space of the United Club, as that lounge moves to the space of the former Centurion Lounge in Concourse B. Unfortunately the timeline for the Chase Sapphire Lounge Seattle opening is a mystery as of now. I suspect that absolute best case scenario, we’re looking at a 2028 timeline, and possibly even 2029, just based on how long these kinds of airport projects ordinarily take. This is the third Chase Sapphire Lounge in the pipeline that’s not yet open, as we’ll also see these lounges in Los Angeles (LAX) and Miami (MIA). Seattle’s airport lounge situation is improving nicely Admittedly it has been close to 15 years since I’ve lived in Seattle, but the airport’s lounge situation sure is improving very nicely. I remember when the first Centurion Lounge Seattle opened back in 2015, and it was so small that they branded it as the “Centurion Studio.” Since then, we’ve of course seen an actually nice and big Centurion Lounge open, we’ve seen the beautiful Alaska Lounge in Concourse N open, and we’ve seen the Delta One Lounge and SkyClub in Concourse A open. Now we’re also going to see another new Alaska lounge complex open (including a first-ever Aurora Lounge, plus Alaska Lounge), and then there’s also a Chase Sapphire Lounge coming. These are all awesome developments! Alaska Aurora Lounge Seattle rendering Bottom line Seattle Tacoma International Airport is getting a Chase Sapphire Lounge. The project has now been approved, though expect it’ll be at least a couple of years before this lounge opens. The expectation is that the lounge will be around 16,000 square feet, and it’ll be located in Concourse A, next to the existing Delta lounge complex. This should be a very nice addition to the airport, as it’s always great to see more lounge space added. What do you make of the Chase Sapphire Lounge Seattle plans?
