Chad Lowe’s daughter Fiona is being remembered as someone everyone wanted to be around. “Fiona was a very well-liked student,” a source shared with Page Six exclusively of the 13-year-old, who tragically died earlier this week. “She had a lot of friends.” The Lowe family confirmed the news of her death in a statement to Page Six on Tuesday night. Chad Lowe/Instagram “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the statement read. “She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance. She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.” The statement concluded, “If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.” An email obtained by Page Six went out to parents at Fiona’s Los Angeles school earlier in the day sharing the heartbreaking news. “We are heartbroken,” said a statement from the family of Fiona (pictured above in 2022) to Page Six shortly after her death. Thanks for signing up! “It is with deep sadness that I am calling you to advise you of the death of one of our students,” the school principal, who did not address Fiona by name, wrote. “Our sincere condolences go out to the student’s family, friends and teachers.” “Counselors are available to meet with students and staff who may need emotional support during this difficult time,” it said. Fiona was the middle child to Chad and his wife, Kim Painter. They also are parents to daughters Mabel and Nixie. “I get the experience of being a girl dad, which is such a privilege,” Chad Lowe said of his daughters (seen above in 2025). Chad Lowe/Instagram Fiona’s grandfather, Charles “Chuck” Lowe, posted a sweet tribute to his late granddaughter on Wednesday on social media. “Rest in peace, sweet Fiona,” said the post, which was accompanied by a photo of her in a swimming pool. In January 2025, the “Melrose Place” actor and his family lost their home in the Los Angeles-area Palisades fire. “I am in awe of their spirit and resilience,” Chad said of his daughters after their home burned down in January 2025’s Palisades fire (seen here in February 2025).
