Live Blog Update| War on Iran 10 October 2026 06:11 BST US Central Command (Centcom) has said it redirected 133 commercial vessels as of 9 October through the Strait of Hormuz to enforce naval blockade against Iran. In a post on X, Centcom said US’s blockade against Iran was “ironclad”. A U.S. Navy MH-60S Sea Hawk takes off from the flight deck of USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) as the guided-missile destroyer supports enforcement of America's ironclad blockade against Iran.
