Canadian defense technology company Dominion Dynamics and Ukraine’s TENCORE signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to manufacture TerMIT unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) in Canada, with initial production targeted for 2027, according to the press release. TENCORE is a leading Ukrainian developer and serial manufacturer of UGVs for military and dual-use applications. Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the company has delivered over 4,000 robotic platforms to Ukraine’s Armed Forces (AFU), actively deployed across more than 50 combat brigades.JOIN US ON TELEGRAMFollow our coverage of the war on the @Kyivpost_official. “The biggest lesson from Ukraine is speed. Battlefield requirements change in weeks, so production, operational feedback, and engineering have to run as a loop: build, deploy, learn, change, scale. Canada gives us the manufacturing base, suppliers, and reliable power to run that loop alongside allies who need these vehicles,” the press release quoted TENCORE co-founder Roman Tkachenko. The MOU, signed at the Canadian Pavilion during the AUSA 2026 defense conference in Washington, also provides for integrating AuraNet, Dominion’s autonomy stack for pan-domain command and control, as the onboard intelligence layer for TerMIT. Nadia Theodore, Canada’s deputy ambassador to the US, attended the signing ceremony. “Canada has the workforce and the suppliers to build at scale. This agreement is how two companies start turning that commitment into vehicles, and we intend to move fast,” the press release quoted Eliot Pence, founder and CEO of Dominion Dynamics.
