How to play SandwichEach day's Sandwich puzzle starts with two words, stacked one above the other like slices of bread.Hidden between them is the filling, and your job is to find it. You must guess the word that sits between them in the dictionary. For example, if the puzzle hands you CAT and SUN, the answer sits somewhere after CAT and before SUN.You have 10 guesses, and each wrong one becomes your new slice, narrowing the gap. Run out of guesses and it's game over until tomorrow.A new Sandwich goes live every day, at midnight UK time, so come back to keep your streak alive and compare your results with friends to see who got it fastest.You'll find Sandwich alongside our other puzzles in the Daily Mail Games section, on both the app and the website.Sandwich tips from the Lead Games Designer Here are a few hints and tips from the Lead Games Designer to help you settle into the game. Try and halve the gap with each guess: Aim for the middle of the two words. A word sitting right beside a slice you already have tells you almost nothing, and you've only got 10 goes.Use the keyboard to help with your next guess: When typing, the keyboard will show you which letters are still available.
