Yes, the same platform you use for everything from sick-day soup to late-night cravings is now ready for your last-minute style snafus, offering on-demand delivery (in under an hour, on average) from all Skims retail stores across the US. Skims co-founder Kim Kardashian offered a demonstration in video form Wednesday, ordering emergency shapewear straght to the set of a photo shoot. Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand launched a partnership with the food delivery service to combat wardrobe emergencies. Instagram/skims ”[The partnership] was inspired by conversations I had with my friends and family members, who think that I am Skims customer service. They call me all the time asking for a bodysuit, underwear or bra, and they need it now. They assume that I have a warehouse on speed dial,” Kardashian told the Hollywood Reporter. “Out of my frustration, I thought, ‘How easy would it be if we were just connected to an app that, in a few taps, could get you the product, typically within an hour?’ … Now, if someone is demanding something from me, I just say, ‘Go to DoorDash. Leave me alone.'” And the new ad spot announcing the partnership appears to have been inspired by Kardashian’s real-life experiences on sets. “ I was in a fitting, and there was a dress that was really tight, to the point of it flattening my chest. I needed a fuller bra that had padding in it to expand the dress, but I didn’t have it with me because I wasn’t at my house,” she told the outlet. Kardashian posed for the campaign images in a black Skims dress and diamonds. Instagram/skims “Now, if someone is demanding something from me, I just say, ‘Go to DoorDash. Leave me alone,'” she told the Hollywood Reporter. Instagram/skims Skims test-drove the concept with a pilot program in 2022, offering two-hour delivery in Southern California; now, she’s managed to make that timeline even tighter and her reach even broader with help from DoorDash. But, as life continues to move at warp speed, she’s managed to make that timeline even tighter and her reach even broader with DoorDash. After all, if you can get a sushi dinner in under 30 minutes, why not some shapewear before that black-tie event? Community Guidelines Welcome to the Page Six Community!
