But in just a few short years, that has started to change as airlines race to lock in deals with Starlink — fast becoming a must-have for airlines to compete. In the U.S., most major airlines have a deal with Starlink, the exceptions being Delta, JetBlue, and Allegiant. Internationally, IAG, Air France-KLM, Lufthansa, Emirates, and Qatar Airways are just among the few that have deals. And while it’s mostly regional flights in the U.S. that are currently equipped with Starlink, it has already received a lot of hype from frequent flyers. There are websites that allow customers to check whether their flight will have it. Airlines make sure to promote it on their apps and in the air.
