BUSY Philipps reveals the extent of her ordeal having two surgeries to treat a rare brain tumour in new photos. The Freaks and Geeks actress recently revealed she was diagnosed with a brain tumour and needed two operations to have it removed. Her Instagram post included a video she recorded in March, the night before her surgery, where she said she felt “blessed” to be able to access great health care and images of her bloody head after one of the operations. “Everyone (mostly) has been so overwhelmingly kind in the past 24 hours so thank you so much for all your well wishes and love and prayers and support,” Busy captioned the post. You all have literally watched me recover since March 2, you just didn’t know it! I AM TOTALLY FINE! She also included photos showing her icing her swollen forehead on the set of her TV show Cupertino. Busy added in the caption: “Thank you to all of my doctors and nurses. Thank you to my kids and my friends and family and my new tv family at @cupertinocbs for helping to get me through these last 6 months as i recovered and tried to get back to feeling like myself which i really finally do!. Most read in Showbiz The Dawson’s Creek alum revealed her diagnosis in an interview with People. “I didn’t know why I wanted to get this scan except for the fact that I just did,” the 47-year-old said, despite not having any symptoms at the time. Around the same time, Busy lost her longtime friend and Dawson’s Creek co-star, James Van Der Beek, to colon cancer at 48. The results concerned her doctor, who told her that she had a lesion on her brain. He instructed her to get a follow-up MRI as early as possible to get a better look at the lesion, and she complied. “‘This is a real tumor, and it’s inside your brain.
