Taking to X, he penned: “I haven’t had any surgery yet. “Some people forward me articles saying it’s been done, which isn’t true. Hilary recently took to the stage at the O2 in London as part of her Hilary Duff The Lucky Me Tour with La Roux. She performed on September 10, as well as September 15. James told fans in April: “I realised it’s been about six months since I posted last. “I have a plan in place to have major surgery that should extend my life and hopefully make me well enough to come back to what I love the most which is touring and making music. “It really sucks to be out of the game. But there is hope!” James was seen for the first time in August as he returned to work after The Sun revealed how James had thrown himself into Murder At The Gates, a new musical he co-created with US playwright Steven Sater. He was seen back in action in rehearsals for Murder At The Gates. James shot to fame as part of Busted in 2000.
