Passengers will be able to enjoy 'hotel-quality sleep at 35,000ft' and 'restaurant dining in the sky' under the airline's renovations on its retrofitted A380 planes in the coming months.In what the UK flag carrier has dubbed 'one of the most extensive cabin refurbishment programmes ever undertaken by an airline', British Airways is launching a new First Suite and upgrading its World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World.First Suite is set to combine 'ultimate comfort and privacy with considered touches to create an elegant space for customers to relax and unwind'. Travellers will find themselves in a space specifically designed to 'evoke a modern luxury hotel feel' curated by designers and manufacturers from Great Britain and Ireland.If jetting off with a partner in the centre seats, the divider can be removed to create a shared lounge and dining area together. Meanwhile, passengers will also be treated to a bespoke unisex First amenity kit with a range of skincare products and an overnight mask 'all carefully curated to support hydration and rest at altitude'.After a restaurant-quality meal in the sky and as the night draws in, crew members will prepare the First Suite with a luxury mattress, cotton duvet and comfortable pillow. As for World Traveller and World Traveller Plus holidaymakers, they will find larger entertainment screens, wider seats and upgraded bedding during their journey. Those travelling Plus will also be treated to a reusable amenity kit containing travel essentials. World Traveller Plus and World Traveller cabins are also receiving a refresh And the airline has unveiled the next phase of its lounge transformations at Terminal 5The A380 will feature the world’s largest business class cabin and boast 106 Club Suite seats across the full upper deck of the plane. Passengers can enjoy more storage, improved functionality and features carefully thought-out to make their journey more comfortable.At London Heathrow, British Airways has unveiled the next phase of its lounge transformations at Terminal 5. Travellers will be able to wait for their flight whilst taking in airfield views and one of the world's longest airport bars.There will be a new lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5C Gates and Terminal 5's Arrivals lounge will see a complete redevelopment.
