Brit man rescued almost week after Nepal flood disaster as death toll passes grim 1,000 milestone & 4,500 remain missing

A BRITISH man has miraculously been pulled alive from rubble nearly a week after the devastating flash floods which killed over 1000 people. It comes as a rapid deployment team from the UK arrived in Nepal, China on Saturday to provide support for Brits and their families. The team, comprising specially trained crisis response staff, will work alongside the British embassy and local authorities. Over 4,500 people remain missing after after catastrophic flash floods ravaged the region and neighbouring Tibet. The staggering death toll is expected to climb further as rescuers continue the desperate search for those still unaccounted for, who include 48 Brits – 33 in Nepal and 15 in Tibet. Only 20 people killed in the horror floods have been reunited with their families as desperate loved ones continue to search overflowing hospitals and mortuaries. Two teenagers, a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy are believed to be among the Britons still missing.
