Brian Poe and Justice Undersecretary Margarita Gutierrez chose to celebrate by conducting a gift-giving activity to show their love and gratitude to communities and sectors close to their hearts. On Aug. 28, 2026, Poe and Gutierrez held the activity at the Arenas Complex in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, reaching a total of 300 beneficiaries from the agriculture, transportation, and fishing sectors. The activity gave assistance to 100 farmers from San Carlos City, 100 representatives of a tricycle operators and drivers’ association and other transport groups from the city, and 100 fisherfolk from Dagupan City. The gathering highlighted the important contributions of farmers, transport workers, and fisherfolk, whose daily work helps sustain local communities and the broader economy.
