The destination in South Carolina is famous for being a family-friendly beach destination with tens of miles of white sand, along with being the so-called golf capital of the world. It is not much of a surprise that it holds much appeal for Breeze. In the first week of July 2027, Cirium Diio data shows that Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) will be Breeze's fifth most-served airport by flights. In the same peak summer month in 2026, it was eighth, while it ranked 15th in 2025. As next July is so far away, things could easily change. Breeze Is Beginning These 12 Routes To Myrtle Beach Credit: Jean Smith | Shutterstock Analysis of the all-Airbus A220-300-operating carrier's schedule from October 2026 through next year shows that the following links will materialize. They build on five other markets from MYR that the airline inaugurated earlier in 2026. They are Fort Lauderdale (flights began on January 16), Islip (May 6), Manchester (February 6), Orlando International (February 5), and Pittsburgh (July 3). None of the following routes have previously been part of Breeze's map, while half of them have either not been served by any carrier before or will be unserved when Breeze takes off. They include Atlantic City International Airport (ACY), New Jersey, which had two airlines operating until earlier this year, but is now unserved. The US Department of Transportation (DOT) shows that the now-defunct Spirit Airlines served the market for a considerable 29 years. Start Date (October 2026 Onward) From MYR To... In the 12 months to July 2026, 28,441 passengers were carried by both Spirit and Allegiant. Allegiant entered the market in May 2026, which was when Spirit ceased to exist. Allegiant has no flights scheduled for 2027, but that could change. Breeze Now Plans 25 Routes To Myrtle Beach In July 2027 Credit: Michael Winner | Shutterstock The routes are shown on the subsequent interactive map, which enables you to zoom in and out and to move about. As of October 19, 2026, and subject to change, Breeze plans a total of 101 weekly departures from MYR in July 2027, with 11 to 16 daily outbound services. In the same week in July 2026, only 62 weekly departures were available. The airline's offering at the airport has grown by a substantial 63% in a year. Loading map… Drag to explore Eight of the 25 routes will be served at least daily, including the new link to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Nearly a third of its links from MYR will be served at least daily, which will be a higher proportion than from any of the airline's other served airports next July. When the carrier's entire nationwide network is considered, its routes have a median of two weekly departures. Where Else Could Breeze Fly From Myrtle Beach? Credit: Markus Mainka | Shutterstock For context, the DOT shows that Breeze's brand-new market from MYR to Burlington had 6,300 round-trip indirect passengers in the 12 months to July 2026. Obviously, that is a tiny volume, but that misses the point. New routes, especially in leisure markets, nearly always increase traffic very strongly (sometimes by hundreds of percent) from nonstop flights and the consequent convenience. In Breeze's case, reasonably low fares and its generally well-regarded product will also contribute. Breeze's average stage length across its entire network is 673 nautical miles (1,246 km). Focusing on this distance shows that some of MYR's top unserved markets are Cleveland (36,000 passengers), New Orleans (21,000), Hagerstown (18,000), Huntington (15,000), Grand Rapids (15,000), Louisville (14,000), Fort Wayne (11,000), and Lexington (10,000). All had flights by Allegiant, Breeze, or Frontier in 2026, but they are now unserved. Breeze flew to New Orleans until September 2026, so it is unlikely to return, at least anytime soon.
