Band of Brothers did not turn into an all-time TV show solely because of the World War 2 angle, but due to how the gritty war series managed to make viewers care about a wide array of characters, creating a tight bond between them throughout 10 episodes. During that time, it makes the audience get invested in magnetic characters played by major stars, only for its realistic and gritty depiction of combat to instantly make viewers fear for their lives once the bullets start flying. If you want another emotional World War 2 project with action sequences that scream gritty realism, then there might not be a better watch than Pitt's Fury. Directed by David Ayer, who has helmed action-packed movies like Jason Statham's A Working Man and The Beekeeper, DC's Suicide Squad, Jake Gyllenhaal's police thriller End of Watch, and more, Fury sucks you in with its impactful combat.
