Several motorcycles and scooters were also loaded onto the vessel, leaving little room between the passengers and the vehicles.The river appeared particularly wide at the spot, with muddy, choppy water stretching into the distance. Waves repeatedly splashed against the sides of the boat as it moved ahead, while the vessel swerved sharply from left to right, making the ride look increasingly unsteady.
