Given how well Blizzard is doing overall, gamers are expecting a lot, especially when it comes to their biggest IPs like Diablo, Warcraft, and Overwatch. Will there ever be another Starcraft? Or what about a classic Warcraft RTS? We might still be pondering those questions after BlizzCon hits, but for now, there's hope that anything is possible. We're inching closer to a full picture of BlizzCon 2026, including the new set of celebrities attending, which Blizzard fully revealed today. People are expecting a lot from this year's BlizzCon, and I can see why. A few games have really shot up in stock this year, including Diablo 4, which just hosted its second successful expansion rollout. Overwatch is also reportedly doing better than ever (in its current incarnation), and World of Warcraft is still chugging along in the second part of its Worldsoul Saga trilogy. Without further ado, Blizzard has given us an inside look at who will be attending this year. Here are the special guests hitting the show floor in 2026: Grammy Award-winning artist, streamer, gamer, and longtime Blizzard supporter T-Pain will join the celebrations for the Overwatch World Cup. Actor, producer, and avid Blizzard game player Simu Liu will battle it out as a player in the Blizzard Classic Cup StarCraft II Entertainment Match, in addition to joining the casting desk. Internationally renowned electronic music producer, DJ, and longtime gaming enthusiast deadmau5 will attend a Diablo-focused panel conversation featuring game developers. One of gaming’s most influential creators, Duke Dennis will join World of Warcraft activations, community engagements, and creator experiences on the show floor. Actor, creator, and Blizzard community personality Khleo Thomas will serve as a “BlizzCon Insider,” capturing real-time highlights and behind-the-scenes content throughout the weekend. All of these are interesting gets, but Simu Liu playing in a Starcraft 2 tournament and casting the event is a pretty huge commitment. If you weren't keen on watching Starcraft 2 before, you might be now. As for the concerts, K-pop group Le Sserafim will return to BlizzCon as the main-stage closing act on September 13, as previously announced. Musical duo YOASOBI will also appear during the Overwatch World Cup, to perform a halftime show at the Overwatch arena. Blizzard points out that this is the "first-ever halftime show" at the World Cup. Even though BlizzCon is only two days, it's absolutely packed with panels, announcements, and special performances like the folks above. It'll be a huge weekend, so stay tuned at ScreenRant, where we'll be live at BlizzCon on assignment.
