Explosions have been reported in Yemen’s Houthi-held capital Sanaa and along the country’s Red Sea coast, with residents describing damage to homes and a hospital, Al Jazeera reported. Residents in western Sanaa reported hearing at least four blasts, although it was not immediately clear what had been hit, the report said. A woman living near a Houthi base said a powerful explosion shattered windows in her home and neighbouring houses. In the coastal city of Mokha, resident Khaled Adib said a rocket struck a four-storey residential building, damaging at least 10 other houses and Mocha General Hospital, according to residents. Meanwhile, fighting continues between Houthi forces and Saudi-backed Yemeni government troops around the strategic city of Taiz.
