Biker, 28, dies in crash with tractor as grieving family pays tribute to 'loving son'

Published: 16:54 EDT, 10 October 2026 | Updated: 17:02 EDT, 10 October 2026 A grieving family have paid tribute to a biker who died in a crash with a tractor.Kieran James Lerwill, 28, was riding his motorbike near South Molton, Devon, at 4.55pm on Sunday, October 4 when the collision happened. Devon and Cornwall Police rushed to the B3227 road but Mr Lerwill was found dead at the scene.The fatal collision involved a BMW S1000 motorbike and a green John Deere tractor on the B3227. Paying tribute to Mr Lerwill, his family said he was 'deeply loved' and his death had left 'a hole in our hearts'.The family said: 'Kieran was a gentle loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, partner and friend.'He is deeply loved and his loss has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.'Words cannot express the sadness and despair we are feeling.'
