Big Brother 28: Week 2 Power of Veto Results (SPOILERS)

Her work blends wit with insight, making readers feel like they’re chatting with a friend who just happens to know way too much about TV. Big Brother 28's drama is finally heating with Rick Devens coming into power as the second HOH of the season, and after nominating a surprising trio of houseguests for eviction, the Power of Veto couldn't be more important. Devens and his former Survivor co-star Dee Valladares have been working alongside Angela Murray and a group of new houseguests, building one side of the house while a group of newbies have been attempting to take a stand on the other. Though Devens nominated Jason, Lyric, and Melody for eviction, his true target appears to be someone else entirely on their side. Jason, who has appeared on RuPaul's Drag Race as Salina EsTitties, is a longtime Survivor and Big Brother fan who quickly clocked that Devens would be an issue in the game. Unfortunately, he wasn't quiet about his revelations and made it clear that Devens would be a target for him in the game. While Lyric and Melody aren't on Devens' side of the house, they're both up on the block for a slightly different reason. As houseguests who have been loyal to Rome, the defacto leader of the other side of the house, they allowed Devens to make a statement. With such a significant split in the house already dividing the houseguests in the first two weeks, Devens appears to be prepared to take a shot at Rome, whether by putting him up in place of one of the original nominees or taking out a number from his side of the house. Though the Power of Veto competition is always an important part of the week, the results this week will make it clear which path Devens will walk as Head of Household, and could dramatically impact the outcome of the game as a whole depending on who wins. Devens Won Big Brother 28's Week 2 Power Of Veto Competition Paramount Although it's only the second week of competition in the Big Brother house, the game has picked up quickly with a former Survivor steering the ship for the second week in a row. After the intense nomination ceremony led to house-wide breakdowns, including a confrontation we'll be sure to see on a future episode of Big Brother between Angela and Jason, the picks for the Power of Veto competition were made. The final players included Devens, Jason, Lyric, Melody, Barrett, and Angela, each of whom wanted to win the Power of Veto to further their own BB agenda. With everyone gunning to win and likely use the Power of Veto, the stakes were high going into the Veto. In an exciting turn of events, Devens won the Power of Veto. While the competition itself won't be revealed until Big Brother 28's next Wednesday episode, the feeds returned to the house in chaos as the houseguests chattered about what would happen during the Veto meeting on Monday, which will lead into the next phase of the week. It's likely that Devens will use the Power of Veto to remove Melody from the block, and then will then nominate Rome. While Rome isn't the defacto houseguest headed home, things are going to be dicey for the rest of the week as both sides of the house work to figure out what comes next. The BB Blockbuster will return for the trio of nominees to compete in, giving them one more chance to save themselves prior to the live vote and eviction that lies ahead. With everything up in the air, Big Brother 28 is finally starting to feel like the exciting game we all know and love, full of chaos as it moves through the twists unleashed on the house.
