Keeping a healer close can mean the difference between recovering from a bad enemy phase and spending Fortuna's Sand to undo it. Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave gives plenty of units access to White Magic, but personal abilities, spell lists, movement, and route availability make some far more dependable than others. This ranking judges units primarily by healing output, range, consistency, and support utility, with combat performance used as a tiebreaker. Sofia is the best pure healer, whereas Olympia is the stronger all-round unit. Your starting route also matters, so the most practical choice may be the specialist who joins automatically rather than one requiring substantial Renown and Support investment. Best Healers Rank Unit Best Quality Main Limitation 1 Sofia Exceptional healing strength and range Limited offensive value 2 Olympia Best balance of healing and self-defence Personal ability does nothing for healing others 3 Fianna Highest potential healing output Best bonuses are Luck-based 4 Tialla Physic access and broad support options Harder to recruit outside Cai's route 5 Ultand Free passive healing and strong utility No Physic Ultand Ultand works best as a secondary healer who accompanies the front line. Patch Up restores a little HP to an adjacent ally after that ally fights, providing free healing without consuming Ultand's action or magic uses. Her later adjacent Dodge support and access to offensive White Magic make her useful even when nobody urgently needs healing. Thanks to Patch Up, Ultand is actually 100 percent the best healer for taking on dungeons or regular clashes! The Patch Up skill works even in those! The drawback is range. Ultand does not learn Physic, so she cannot rescue a distant ally as readily as the units ranked above her. Use her to keep one group healthy while your main healer covers the wider map. She joins automatically in Chapter 6 of Cai's route and is relatively easy to recruit on Dietrich's and Theodora's routes. Tialla Tialla is Cai's most dependable main healer because she joins automatically and learns both Physic and Recover. Physic lets her repair mistakes without standing beside the injured unit, which becomes increasingly valuable as maps grow and your army splits into separate groups. She can also contribute decent offensive spells when no healing is required. Her Tactician's Wit adds one range to supportive Combat Arts, making her a broader support unit rather than merely a health dispenser. Be careful not to confuse that bonus with extra spell range: it does not extend Physic. Tialla is considerably less convenient on other routes because recruiting her requires Cai's Paralogue, three Support, high Renown, and 3,000G. Fianna Fianna has the highest healing ceiling on this list. Her 55-percent personal Magic growth is excellent, while Graceful Light can reduce a healing spell's cost to zero and Gift of Faith can add 20 HP to a heal. The upgraded Gift of Faith raises that bonus to 30 HP. She also brings useful support magic such as Recover, Regen, and Rescue. Those personal abilities activate according to Luck, however, and Fianna's personal Luck growth is only 25 percent before class modifiers. That makes her spectacular when they trigger but less consistent than Sofia. Fianna is recruitable on every route; Leda can obtain her especially early at five Renown, while the other routes need seven to nine Renown, three Support, and 3,000G. OIympia Olympia is the best choice if you want one magical unit to heal allies and remain dangerous during quieter turns. She learns Heal and Physic, has strong Magic growth, and can use Nosferatu to damage enemies while restoring her own HP. Competitive Zeal adds 10 Critical Hit while she has magic equipped, and Ardent Nosferatu further improves that spell's attack and Critical Hit. None of Olympia's personal abilities directly makes her healing stronger, which is the only reason she sits behind Sofia. In every other respect, she is the more flexible deployment. She joins Leda automatically and can be recruited on the other routes through three quests, three Support, and route-dependent Renown. A mounted Troubadour build is especially effective when mobility matters. Sofia Sofia is the game's best dedicated healer because every personal ability reinforces the job. Healing Knowledge adds 10 HP whenever she heals an ally with magic. At higher levels, Distant Healing adds one range to healing magic, then Distant Healing+ increases that bonus to two. Combined with Physic, this lets Sofia repair damage from remarkably safe positions and cover allies across a wide area. She will not match Olympia's offensive flexibility, but a unit spending most turns healing does not need to. Keep Sofia on the Priest-to-Bishop route for White-Magic Seeker and increasingly powerful Magic Heal bonuses; consider Troubadour only when mounted movement would solve more problems than Bishop's raw healing. Sofia joins automatically on Theodora's route, while the others can recruit her through Support and Renown alone, with no quest or payment required.
