A major part of the show’s appeal lies in its lavish balls, elaborate costumes, romance and, of course, the sharp-tongued commentary of the mysterious Lady Whistledown. And Bengaluru’s version appeared to have embraced all of it. In the video, a man dressed in a smart suit and a woman in a flowing dress were seen facing each other before performing a formal bow. The two then joined hands and began dancing, with their outfits and movements taking cues from the elegant world of the show. The setting added to the mood, with candlelight, dressed-up guests and spaces for photographs making the evening look less like a regular night out and more like a scene from the show.Watch the video here:The video of the event also had social media users wondering how they had somehow missed it. One person recalled passing the venue on Friday night and mistaking the gathering for a Christian wedding at a pub in Indiranagar.Another was surprised that events like this even happened in Bengaluru, while someone else simply wished they had known about it before being away from the city. One person, however, felt something was missing, pointing out that the reason Bridgerton is so loved is its unmistakable “British sass.”- EndsPublished By: Yashna TalwarPublished On: Sep 9, 2026 12:30 IST
