Bail conditions for robbery accused

Rayston Omarie Spence has to avoid several City areas as a condition of his bail after he appeared in a Bridgetown court on two charges. The 18-year-old of Nightengale Drive, Parish Land, St Philip, is accused of robbing Sheneco Grazette of a gold-colored chain valued at $1 100 on September 10 and stealing a chain valued $2 000 belonging to Tah-Jay Greaves on February 9. He denied the charges in the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court. Acting Magistrate Shakieda Sealy granted him bail of $5 000 with surety and ordered him not to frequent Roebuck Street, Fairchild Street and Queen’s Park. Spence was also placed on a 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and told to report weekly to the District C Police Station. (JB)
