VERDICT Arsenal are in a better position than last term — and that is down to the signings of Ezri Konsa and Guimaraes. England centre-back Konsa, 28, is a real statement of intent and gives the North London side unrivalled depth when it comes to defence. The squad is also in a healthy position, especially concerning the attacking players at Mikel Arteta’s disposal.
