And after getting a rapturous pre-match reception, he took a fake kick-off ahead of the Brugge derby. Played between Club and Cercle, who both have home games at the same ground, Tzolis returned to the stands to watch his ex-team-mates come away with three points. They won 1-0 and continued their 100 per cent start to the league campaign. Although still early on in his Prem and Arsenal career, Tzolis has become an immediate hit at the Emirates after a sparkling opening performance and strong pre-season showings. He spent just two years in Belgium after arriving from Dusseldorf – where he moved following a forgettable spell at Norwich. And Tzolis was an output machine, scoring 43 times in 108 appearances with 45 assists. Patting his chest with his hand, Tzolis was given the match ball and placed it on the centre circle. The ref blew a fake starting whistle and Tzolis kicked it back to Club Brugge and got another big cheer. He put his arms in the air before heading off the pitch and embracing with boss Ivan Leko. Tzolis also got a touch from the mascot. Arsenal ticket and hospitality deals GET tickets to see Arsenal home games with these official deals.
