Arsenal complete incredible transfer for Liverpool wonderkid Vincent Joseph, 16, as teen striker joins academy

ARSENAL have announced the capture of rising star Vincent Joseph from Liverpool. Joseph, 16, has become the latest in a long list of academy prospects to join the Gunners this summer in an aggressive recruitment drive. He has also impressed for England Under-16s too, scoring eight times and providing one assist in his nine caps for the Young Lions. Joseph announced his exit from Liverpool on Tuesday night, writing on Instagram: “After nine unforgettable years, the time has come to say goodbye. “Thank you for the memories, and for making my time here truly special. YNWA.” Joseph becomes the third top-rated youngster to join the Gunners in the space of two weeks, following Georgian wonderkid Andria Bartishvili and 40-goal prospect Mylo Bernard through the door. Meanwhile Arsenal also lured Manchester United duo James Scanlon and Habeeb Ogunneye away from Old Trafford earlier this month. That followed the signing of Elijah Upson – son of former West Ham and Arsenal ace Matthew – from North London rivals Tottenham earlier in the window.
