APPSC asks candidates to update OTPR details from September 30

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has advised all applicants and candidates to update their One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR) details from September 30, 2026, in view of changes introduced to determine local status in the State.According to a press note issued by the Commission on Tuesday, modifications have been made to the OTPR system relating to District, Zone and Multi-Zone details based on candidates’ study and residence particulars. The changes have been incorporated in accordance with the Andhra Pradesh Presidential Order, 2025, particularly Para 7 of G.O.Ms.No.45, General Administration (SPF&MC) Department, dated April 20, 2026.The Commission has directed candidates to update their OTPR particulars before applying for any recruitment notification issued by the APPSC. Candidates have also been asked to ensure that the information provided is accurate, complete and in accordance with the applicable rules.The APPSC says the details furnished in the OTPR will be verified at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process. It cautions that candidates who provide incorrect information or make false declarations regarding their eligibility or other particulars may face rejection of their candidature, as per the applicable rules.Candidates can update their details through the Commission’s official website, psc.ap.gov.in, the release says.
