Other interesting storylines today include the disappointing Chargers and Buccaneers looking to get their first wins against 2-0 teams, the Bills and Vikings, respectively. The two games with the most expected points this week based on Kalshi prediction markets are Chargers vs. Bills (over 49.5 points at 51%) and Ravens vs. Cowboys (over 52.5 at 51%). Traders could target those games if they want to buy “Yes” contracts on anytime touchdown scorer props at the best prediction markets.Below are three intriguing anytime TD scorer markets from some of today’s most compelling Week 3 games. He has scored the most rushing touchdowns of any quarterback in NFL history (92), and he already leads the league with four scores on the ground.With that track record, any price under 60% looks like solid value, and this also should be a favorable matchup. Allen has three rushing TDs in three career games against the Chargers, including two the last time these teams matched up. Why Josh Allen could not score a touchdownPrice: $0.43 on KalshiAs prolific as Allen has been on the ground this season and throughout his career, touchdowns are still somewhat fluky and unpredictable. Allen is on a historic TD-scoring pace through two games, and his production is bound to regress to his average. While Allen has had success against the Chargers in the past, that production does not necessarily forecast future results. The Chargers’ run defense has been stingy this season, allowing a league-best 2.7 yards per carry and grading out well in advanced metrics like DVOA (11th) and EPA per play (8th). The Chargers have struggled more against the pass this season, and if Allen can find success through the air, then he might not need to use his legs as much in this game. Ravens vs. Cowboys anytime TD scorer markets on KalshiWhy CeeDee Lamb could score a touchdownPrice: $0.42 on KalshiAfter a relatively quiet Week 1, Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb exploded for eight catches, 153 yards and two touchdowns last week against Washington. It was his most receiving yards in a game since 2023, and he now has three touchdowns to start the season.Meanwhile, Lamb’s running mate George Pickens is off to a slow start after his breakout season last year, when he led the team in virtually every receiving category. The early signs point to Lamb reclaiming his status as the Cowboys’ No. 1 receiver. The Ravens struggled mightily against wide receivers last year, ranking bottom three in targets, receptions and yards allowed to the position. While they have looked better this season, we need to see more than a two-week sample size before we can ignore last season’s numbers. Why CeeDee Lamb could not score a touchdownPrice: $0.60 on KalshiSimilar to the case against Allen above, it’s risky to put too much stock in Lamb’s hot start. He caught three touchdowns all of last season and has caught touchdowns in three straight games twice in his career (both in his historic 2023 season, when he caught TDs in seven of his final eight games). While you can’t assume the Ravens have solved their pass defense issues from last season, you also can’t ignore the last two weeks. The Ravens have allowed only two passing touchdowns through two games and rank top 12 in yards allowed, DVOA and EPA against the pass.Baltimore’s bigger issues this season have been on the ground, which could mean more scoring opportunities for RB Javonte Williams this week and fewer chances for Lamb. Backup QB Carson Wentz connected with Jefferson for two touchdowns, matching his TD total from last season. It was arguably Jefferson’s best game in over a year, and last week’s dud in a rain-soaked game against Chicago doesn’t erase those positive signs.Now Jefferson gets Murray back for what should be a good matchup against the Buccaneers. Tampa has been tough against the run (3.0 yards per carry) but has struggled against the pass (25th in DVOA). The same thing was true last year when the Bucs finished fifth against the run and 27th against the pass. If the Bucs force Murray to air it out, Jefferson will see plenty of volume. That gives him a good chance of finding the endzone, and if he does it again this week, you might not see probabilities as low as 37% for the rest of the season. Why Justin Jefferson could not score a touchdownPrice: $0.65 on KalshiMurray played 11 snaps before suffering a concussion in Week 1, so we have not really seen what the Vikings’ offense looks like with him under center. That creates plenty of uncertainty for Jefferson’s expectations entering this matchup.Murray’s mobility could hurt Jefferson’s chances of scoring. The Buccaneers allowed six rushing touchdowns to QBs last season, tied for third most in the league. Murray has 32 career rushing touchdowns, which is the fourth-most by a QB since he entered the league.Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson also poses a threat to Jefferson’s TD chances. The Bucs allowed the second-most touchdowns to tight ends last season (12), and they have already allowed two this season. Murray had an affinity for targeting his tight ends in Arizona, so he could look toward Hockenson more than Jefferson when the Vikings get into the red zone.
