Janeesh’s vehicle was allegedly attacked by Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) members at Kannur, on Thursday (October 1, 2026).The incident occurred while the Minister was travelling to Kasaragod after attending a programme organised in connection with the Archaeology department. DYFI activists reportedly stopped the vehicle during the protest. Mr Janeesh is the Minister for Sports, Archaeology and Museum.The Youth Congress alleged that the car was attacked and that stones were used to hit the vehicle.
