Fort Worth-based American Airlines has signed an interline agreement with German carrier Condor. This will expand the two airlines' international partner network and give travelers more choice and connections between the two carriers. This will provide new connections to more than 150 cities through Condor's transatlantic gateways in New York JFK Airport (JFK), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). With Condor set to begin flights to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) in May next year, an additional gateway will provide travelers an opportunity to travel on Condor's nonstop transatlantic flights to Frankfurt, and onward to the airline's extensive European network to popular leisure destinations across France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Austria, Greece, Switzerland and more. With Condor set to add its new service to Chicago in May, this will see the two airlines gain an extensive North American offering with another key destination. This comes at an important time for American, as it continues to grow its O'Hare hub. Those traveling within the United States and onto the Condor network, or vice versa, will enjoy the growing Chicago network to hundreds of destinations across the country.
