"AMD Loves Omarchy" Linux With More Collaboration Coming

In addition to organizations like Alibaba, SpaceXSI, DigitalOcean, Meta SuperIntelligence Labs, and others contributing millions of dollars toward the development of the Omarchy Linux distribution, it turns out AMD also has a thing for this Linux distribution built around the Hyprland compositor. Anush Elangovan, the VP of AI Software at AMD and well known for leading the work on ROCm in recent years since his Nod.ai company was acquired by AMD, has been praising Omarchy recently on X. Anush also holds the fastest install-time for Omarchy -- using AMD hardware. Yesterday he met with Omarchy lead David Heinemeier Hansson at the Fireworks Forge event. He supplied DHH with an AMD Ryzen AI Max 495+ "Gorgon Halo" powered HP ZBook laptop. Anush commented on X that "AMD ❤️ Omarchy. Great things are ahead." It will be interesting to see what great things come out of this AMD and Omarchy collaboration.
