The yacht and its crew were reported to be near Hodeidah in Yemen.Some Arab media outlets on Thursday quoted Yemen's Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree as claiming that Saudi forces had targeted the Indian yacht near Yuqar Island in the Red Sea, close to the Yemeni coast.Saree said the yacht was carrying 14 Indian nationals and that Houthi forces were rescuing them. He added that more details would be provided later. “Reports suggest that all 14 Indian nationals are safe and located around Hodeidah in Yemen,” the Indian mission said in a social media post on Friday, as reported by PTI.“We will continue to work for ensuring their well-being,” it said. The Indian embassy has not specifically commented on who carried out the attack on the yacht.
