ALDI is bringing back an iconic kitchen appliance to shelves later this month, and it is hundreds cheaper than its posh competitor. Planetary action simply means the beater head rotates in one direction while the attachment itself spins in the opposite direction. This ultimately creates a path that reaches over 59 touchpoints within the bowl, according to the manufacturer. The KitchenAid product also has 10 settings versus Aldi’s 8 and also uses less electricity at 275W against the 420W of the Aldi mixer. However, the Aldi mixer is able to hold more in the bowl, with a capacity of 5 litres verses KitchenAid’s 4.3 litres. Overall, for as little as £34.99, it will do the hard work of mixing for you and can also add a stunning upgrade to your kitchen worktop.
