Alanis Morissette has announced her first holiday album, Good Weather for Immaculate Conception, out November 6th via Epiphany Music/Virgin Music. As a preview, she’s shared a rendition of “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem,” accompanied by Brandi Carlile on vocals and Steve Martin on banjo, which you can stream below. In addition to the new original songs “Christmas on the Dance Floor” and “To an Empath at Christmas Time,” Good Weather for Immaculate Conception features standards like “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night,” and “Merry Christmas.” Other collaborators include Joy Oladokun, Amythyst Kiah, Martin Short, and Trans Voices, the UK’s first professional trans choir. Earlier this year, she was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame before embarking on a summer UK and European tour.
