Al-Ansari stresses stronger Qatar-U.S. ties at Washington D.C. Forum

Reflecting on the forum in a post on X, Majed Al-Ansari said it provided an opportunity to discuss Qatar-U.S. relations and the two countries’ longstanding partnership. Advisor to Qatar’s Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Majed Al-Ansari, participated on Wednesday in the Washington D.C. Forum. The one-day forum, organised by Concordia in partnership with the Embassy of Qatar in the United States, focused on the strategic Qatar-U.S. partnership and key regional and international developments of mutual interest. Rogers and Matthew Swift, co-founder, president and CEO of Concordia.Concordia, a U.S.-based non-partisan organisation that brings together leaders from government, business and civil society, described the Washington, D.C. Forum as a “hub for high-level dialogue” on geopolitical, economic and security challenges. It also provided an opportunity to exchange views on current issues and highlighted the importance of dialogue, cooperation and international partnerships in addressing shared challenges.The Washington, D.C. Forum comes ahead of the UN General Assembly’s high-level week and Concordia’s Annual Summit in New York, which runs from 20 to 23 September, where a Qatari delegation is also due to participate.
