The new prices will be effective November 11.The smartphone prices are expected to rise up again by up to 10% post Diwali due to memory crisis, lesser inventories and rupee depreciation against US dollar.“With fresh inventory being procured at higher memory and component costs, the company has advanced its planned price revision to reflect the updated cost structure,” the company said.Ai+ Smartphone, a new homegrown smartphone brand, sold over ten lakh devices during the Q3, 2026. “The decision follows stronger-than-anticipated consumer demand, with sales exceeding initial projections and existing inventory being exhausted ahead of schedule,” it added.Recently, another Indian smartphone brand, Lava, said to increase its smartphone prices by up to ₹3,000 post Diwali.Overall, Indian smartphone shipments went down to a decade low by 20% during the third quarter due diminishing demand and rising average smartphone price (ASP) of the phones.
