Aditya Seal-Anushka Ranjan welcome twin girls, reveal their names

Actor Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan have embraced parenthood as the two welcomed twin girls. The couple shared the news with their fans on Instagram on Sunday, August 23.Aditya and Anushka also revealed the names of their daughters: Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal.Sharing the announcement, the two, in a joint statement, wrote, “We are very excited to share the news! Our hearts are full as we welcome our baby girls, Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal, born on 23.08.2026. My sunshines are here to brighten our lives. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude (sic).”Aditya and Anushka got married in Mumbai on November 21, 2021, after dating for around four years. The couple first crossed paths in 2017 at a charity fashion show organised by Anushka’s mother and eventually began a relationship. In June this year, Anushka opened up about her IVF journey, sharing details about the emotional and physical challenges she faced while trying to start a family. She admitted that she initially struggled to accept the idea of undergoing IVF, mistakenly believing that the treatment meant something was wrong with her. She later spoke about the need to break the stigma surrounding fertility treatments.Anushka also revealed that she underwent around 150 injections during the process and credited Aditya and her family for standing by her throughout the journey. On May 29, 2026, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together.
