Because of this, prebuilt PCs are now even more valid, because you get good value and it comes with support. If you've been thinking about a new desktop PC, the Acer Predator Orion is a good choice, especially with this $400 discount from Best Buy. Acer Predator Orion Gaming Desktop $1500 $1900 Save $400 It won't be for everyone We know that prebuilt PCs won't be for everyone, but if you don't want to deal with part hunting, which could take weeks or even months of waiting for some parts, it's a good way to go. We think this Predator Orion model has solid core parts that let you get into gaming without a lot of fuss. The desktop PC is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF chip that's paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. We know the RAM might not be ideal, but it's enough for gaming and can handle the basics. The good news is that you can upgrade this desktop PC later with more RAM and storage when prices for these components stabilize. The component doing most of the heavy lifting here is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. We gave this card high praise when we first reviewed it, and we still think it can do everything you want it to do. It provides a good balance between power and price. Beyond that, you get ample cooling, plenty of ports, and that $400 discount. The keyboard and mouse are included, but you will need a monitor if you don't already have one. Overall, this is a solid option for a gaming desktop PC.
