(ABC News: Liam Patrick)In short:NSW Police say they have arrested a "key player" in gang, with the man accused of setting up murders, kidnappings and arsons.Sources have told the ABC Reece Fakhr's phone was found at the scene of the shooting of an 11-year-old boy at Norwest last month.Mr Fakhr is not accused of any wrongdoing over the boy's death.An 18-year-old man accused of being a senior member of a Sydney gang was arrested and charged after his phone was found at the scene of a boy's shooting last month, sources say.Reece Fakhr is alleged by NSW Police to be a "key player" in the self-proclaimed Coconut Cartel, with the teenager accused of setting up murders, kidnappings and arsons.The gang, which takes its name from a historic slur against Pasifika people, is in the middle of a bloody war with Sydney's Alameddine crime family.Both crime networks' leaders remain overseas.To date, police have attributed the gangland hostilities to the deaths of at least four people.Two of those deaths, police believe, were cases of mistaken identity.Mr Fakhr has been charged with conspiracy to murder, soliciting a murder, kidnapping and firearm offences stemming from the underworld conflict.The ABC understands the allegations against Mr Fakhr only came to light after his phone was located at the scene of the shooting of an 11-year-old boy at Norwest last month.Mr Fakhr is not accused of any wrongdoing or any involvement in the boy's death.Police previously said several people, including three teenagers, fled the apartment complex not long after the boy was fatally shot in the face.The boy comes from a family with underworld links and investigations into his death are continuing.Mr Fakhr was arrested at Sydney International Airport on Tuesday morning.He was refused bail by police and fronted a bail court on Wednesday, where his case was adjourned to be heard again later this year.
